RABIYA ARAF Core​ PORTRAITURE, Aim: To develop students' observational drawing skills in relation to portraiture.​ Group: Year 8 at Woodrush High School.​ Learning: Students analysed the work of artist Luke Dixon and used his work to create their own 'celebrity portrait'. The students learnt about how to transfer an image using the grid method to create accurately proportioned observational drawings. ​Pedagogy: How can we support, develop and scaffold observational drawing?​
