Sept 2017 - Present

MSc in Interdisciplinary Biomedical Research

I have completed the first 6-months of taught modules and the first mini-project of my Masters degree, and I am now completing my second mini-project. Upon successful completion of the MSc year I will go on to complete a three year PhD based around topics and techniques covered during my mini-project.

Modules

Statistics for Data analysis, Introduction to Chemistry and Biochemistry, Quantitative Skills for Systems Biology, Frontier Techniques and Research Skills in Biomedicine, Microscopy and Imaging, Transferable Skills, Molecular Modelling, Research Topics in Interdisciplinary Biomedical Research, Physical Biology of the Cell, and two eleven-week laboratory projects.

2013 to 2017

MSci in Biochemistry, First Class with Honours.

From September 2013 to July 2017 I conducted an undergraduate integrated masters degree in biochemistry at the University of Birmingham, for which I received first class honours. My final year project looked at the structural and biochemical properties of gliding motility complex components in Bdellovibrio bacteriovorus.
