My Research Interest

Being part of community and having social bonds enhance our quality of life in many ways. However, people born very preterm have fewer friends, are less likely to be in a relationship, and be a parent compared to those born at term.

With this in mind, my research interest is intended to examine the early risk and protective factors that affect these adults` life quality. If its precursors are managed to be determined, early intervention methods can be developed to improve preterm births` quality of life.
